He is close to the public and community where serves as a public servant. Also, serving as a Special Magistrate sharpens his arbitral professional saw. International Law

The firm works and has worked on matters related to Brazil and other countries. Mr. Beno Suchodolski, founding Member of Suchdolski Advogados in São Paulo, Brazil, is Florida Foreign Legal Consultant to the Squires International Law, PLLC. Mr. Squires has lived and worked in oil and gas, music technology, and aviation in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Also, Squires has arbitrated and mediated Brazilian matters.

Additionally, Mr. Squires has lived and worked in Mexico City, Mexico; The Netherlands; the Republic of Panama, and Indonesia; further he has worked throughout Africa, Europe, The Middle East, and Asia. His arbitrations, as Arbitrator and advocate, are global in nature, like his mediations as Mediator and counsel. The firm serves global clients and matters.

Global Oil & Gas, and Energy Law

Mr. Gilbert K. Squires, P.E., FCCA, DCIArb, BCS, is the former President of Conoco Mexico, Ltd., in Mexico City, Mexico. He is a Fellow of the College of Commercial Arbitrators, and Diplomate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, serves in complex business, oil & gas, energy, and construction arbitration tribunals of the AAA (American Arbitration Association), or ICDR (International Centre for Dispute Resolution), or ICC (International Chamber of Commerce), as Arbitrator or a client Advocate.  As a Fellow of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, he has been asked to mediate energy, business, commercial, and probate disputes. Squires and firm members advise clients in properly planning and using arbitration clauses and agreements.  Mr. Squires, BCS, is a Board Certified Specialist in International Law, and a Board Certified Specialist in International Litigation and Arbitration.  Squires has served on the Executive Council of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Section of the Florida Bar.  Squires is a member of the International Law and International Litigation and Arbitration Sections of the Florida Bar.  Also, he is a Texas Professional Engineer in petroleum engineering.

Entertainment Law and Music-Technology

In the late 1990s, as Universal Music’s Director of Content Management Latin America, Mr. Squires helped set up and organized the organizations for Universal Music Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, and other smaller labels. The position blended legal affairs, publishing, and digital technologies involving the digitization of audio, video, graphic, and text files, international business, energy, and technology consulting.  Squires is a member of the Florida Bar’s Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Section.

Probate, Probate Litigation, and Guardianship

The firm’s services include: probate administration and litigation, including appeals, will reformation, beneficiary rights, resolution and avoidance of inheritance conflicts, and many other estate disputes. Squires International has administered estates in Florida for domestic estates and estates with European, South American, and African assets. Also, the practice includes establishing guardianships and guardianship litigation. The partners have served as guardians and attorneys for guardians.
